About Us

Lighthouse Accountancy Services Ltd was founded by Kimberley Light, a Chartered Management Accountant and certified CIMA Member in Practice with extensive experience in both industry and practice.

Kimberley began her accountancy career in 2002, starting as an Accounts Junior after completing an NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration and Customer Service. 

Over the years, she progressed through a variety of finance roles, building hands-on experience across bookkeeping, payroll, cash flow, compliance, management reporting and financial control.

Her most recent employed role was as Financial Controller for the franchisor of a multi-million-pound kitchen franchise network, giving her valuable insight into the financial challenges faced by growing businesses.

Having completed both her AAT and CIMA ACMA qualifications, Kimberley combines strong technical knowledge with practical commercial experience. She understands that business owners need more than accurate records — they need clear, timely and meaningful financial information that helps them make confident decisions.

Today, Kimberley provides fractional financial controller support, management accounts, bookkeeping and compliance services to businesses that need reliable finance support without the cost of a full-time senior finance hire.

Lighthouse is an independent practice, which means clients receive a personal, flexible and responsive service. 

Kimberley takes pride in her hardworking approach, attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement, ensuring clients receive support that is both practical and commercially useful.

Kimberley works alongside her husband, Adam, the company’s Operations Director, who supports the smooth running of the business, marketing and internal administration.

The team has also recently welcomed Isabel, Bookkeeper and Assistant Management Accountant, who supports the delivery of bookkeeping and management accounts services for clients.
